I helped organize a networking event to connect Filipino business-owners in Daly City, CA. This event was also used as an opportunity to conduct focus group research for the development of a social enterprise community center. FMHI-SMC received seed funding from San Mateo County to launch a Cultural Arts & Wellness Center, using a social enterprise financial model. The goal of this event was to start building a network of Filipino business owners as the base of mentors to support the planned youth workforce development programs.
I was in charge of graphic design, managing records of attendees, and video production for the event.

The attendees were split into three groups to answer questions about community, entrepreneurship, and the current state of Filipino-owned businesses in Daly City. Their responses were recorded and will be used for the programming of the future community center and youth programming. The attendees ranged from business owners of fitness companies and local restaurants.
